Your maintenance costs are not going to be any higher than maintenance on any other enthusiast based sport sedan.
My point exactly.

It's not like the Supra is going to be any more or less expensive to maintain. And, to be honest, the only other Dinan M5 I've seen outside of a show-room was one that was from like the late(?) eighties (I can't tell BMWs apart, because they all follow the exact same design cues from one generation to the next) and it's owned by one of the parts buyers for Car Quest. I see Supras all the time.

The initial cost of the car itself was why I suggested alternatives. BMW generally has a higher quality aftermarket, and parts are expensive, but that's because it's difficult to improve on the original without major design adjustments.

Well, except for the fact that designer clothes are made with quality material and more often than not I do not have to take them to a tailor to get them to fit right.

I actually just clicked the link, and while I place little value on what a dealer says about condition and maintenance, I believe this ad. OP, I say go ahead and start searching for a Supra, I'm probably going to jump on this.

Only 80k on a car that is 10 years old, who said high mileage. LOL. I have put 40k on my car in 2 years or so.

You must have very average proportions.

Designer or not, I have trouble finding clothes that fit properly, much less ones that fit exactly the way I'd like them to. The sleeves are always too short and the collars are generally tight on shirts that fit my torso, and good luck finding something that sits right on my shoulders. And, no, I'm not fat.

As far as materials/manufacturing quality, it doesn't really matter where you go (unless you're talking about American Apparel), they're all made in Honduras, Bangladesh or somewhere on the Indochinese peninsula.

It's getting to be that way with automotive stuff, too. Edelbrock is about the only domestic performance brand I know that is, actually, still 100% made in U.S.A.

I wouldn't say I have average proportions since my arms are disproportionately long and my hip-to-waist ratio is more like a woman's than a man's, but the way I like my clothes to fit is pretty close to the skin. I'm aware of how long my sleeves should be and where a shirt should fall on my shoulders, but most clothing that fits my arms and shoulders is baggy as hell around my torso/waist, even if I opt for the "slim fit" style of a shirt.

I agree with your points, but I'll also say that regardless of where an article of clothing is made, some clothing lines feel a lot better on my skin than others... I'm a sucker for department store "designer" jeans (R&R, TR, Diesel, etc) and, to me, each line has a different feel with my R&R pair being my favorite because of how well they fit and the quality/feel of the material compared to my TRs, Diesels, 7s, and a couple others I have.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I have the same problem. Where are the dudes that this stuff actually fits?

I rock slim-fit stuff, too, but I always end up stretching the chest/shoulders and collar.

It's funny, I do have Diesel and some D&G jeans, but they're ones I bought overseas, for like $8/pair, lol. Ironically, department stores in Asia seem to be my best bet for the fit I want. Maybe I need less rice and more potatoes in my diet.

I know of a clean 97 supra auto twin turbo with upgrades for 24k, with a complete audio system installed and rims.
