Oh, shitty. I guess I won't be doing that swap. I don't wanna have to pay over $200 to get it smogged every two years. I guess I'm just gonna hit the junkyard pretty soon and get two 248 duration cams.
your car wont pass with the hot cam swap either. i just said if you're going to do it, you might as well do the hot cam swap too.

But is there anything else I need to know about the swap?

Yes, you're talking about spending a relatively large amount of money for relatively small gains in power.

The zealots might come after me for this one, but building for naturally aspirated power on an engine that isn't designed for peak power is silly.

The best modification for your car, on a dollar-to-enjoyment comparison would be a manual transmission conversion, or a release of liability form.

You're not even going to hit 200 whp with that setup. Might as well go turbo.

But if you have the money you can get a SCCA GT3 class KA24E. That's right, the single cam. Price is $6400 though.

But seriously, force feed or leave it alone.

turboing a dual cam is so easy too. jason said it himself, it should only take about $700. and you can even keep your gh3y auto tranny too.
